crunkman which one do YOU like?
I like the JVC one for the menu's / USB / det. face / full screen / 5V line out etc but that's just me. I like to play, you should try and get down to a store and have a decent look before purchasing. ;)

Anyone used the Clarion MAX686BT before? Getting one for my Odyssey, but can't seem to get much reviews/impressions on the web

Kenwood 5032 and Pioneer 4050 are the better of those selection.
Shop around and you'll be able to get Kenwood DDX7039 for a Grand.
Better then all of those units.

i heard the clarions are dodgy from a freind, for exapmle, you need to really press very hard on the touch screen

yes i quiet like the jvc 810, and i can get it for 800 with delivery and 12 month warrenty, i like the idea that it plays many formats of videoes ect
what does the 5v line mean (may sound a little noob)

Means that the RCA outputs that send a signal to your amp have a potential of 5V ( not that it will get anywhere near that for normal music ) to hopefully reduce any induction noise.
I know its not the best but you can also get a special Ipod cable which connects via the usb so you can watch movies from your Ipod and of course listen to tunes. It's good for convenience.
