thankyou beeza

bloody hell i dont know how you expect to recruit more members for this forum when any new person who comes is told off and just told to search!

i dont know much about cars and it took me a while to figure out that 1596 cc meant 1.6 litres

getting told off for saying 'lol' by some wanker followed by '****en 18 year olds' is reall bloody friendly

so you know what **** everyone on this forum whose a total ****, except beeza. ill seek advice elsewhere

Yeah not fair at all man.MikeyG's comment was not nice at all after what was already said.

This site IS NOT like that man.I know that will be hard to believe now but I've been on here for over 2 years and it is not like other sites.

It is really not nice to be welcomed the way you were but if that's the way it was here,I would not be here.

So please try again...

I want to say to all the internet warriors there,THINK BEFORE YOU TYPE!!

Not much good left in this world. Most of it has been corrupted by evil.Don't destroy what the hard workers of this site have built it into.A GREAT FREAKING SITE!!

Exactly the same as my car! (when it was stock :) )

Just be warned,Modding a car costs money...

Ok,now that that is out of the way...I hunted down all the DIY jobs I can do for my car when I started and done em' all! It was awesome because it costs little and you learn a lot in the process!
On most,if not all car forum's there's a DIY section.
This kept me busy, being poor, then when I did have some spare cash I bought that front lip or whatever for my car.
It's been 3 years now and I'm very happy with my car.
If your new to cars, modding a car slowly is the best way to go.It suits most people because they have little money too.I am constantly changing my plans for parts etc.If I had money I would have just bought it and then worked out later there is a better option...

cheers mate ill take a look at the DIY section for sure.
do you have a picture of your car as it is now? for comparrison?
and also, do you have any ideas on what i can start modding first? (cheaply and easily, as you said)
in the meantime ill take a look and search for myself:P

im interested in that headlight mod, but im not keen on taking my headlight apart...is it a difficult task? or does it just look really tricky?

beeza

ahaha Dahon :)

It's actually really easy man.

After it's been in the oven for a bit,you can easily pry/pull it apart, tape it up ready for painting, plastic primer then paint.

When you seal it up use lots of silicone, make sure it's sealed up real good. You don't want moisture getting in there. If that happens you will have to take it apart again.

There's a few different looks you can go for too :)
