why not use the EM1 setup.
im sure that would be a direct fit.
youll need the whole package.
trailing arm, hubs and probably lower control arms if different.

but youll need to change your fronts too.
if im not mistaken. EM1 is 4x114.3

if you knew all that and asking your question solely based on what i just said. im sorry i wasted your time LOL.

em1 = 4x100.
Also look at ek4 and later ek1 too.

It is the same front n rear as DC2 (262mm fronts etc) so look at that.

If you are stuck you can use EG6 , DC2 and DC4 front n rear brake parts and booster etc

lol, so will they fit? i'll be upgrading the bb and mc to vti-r or maybe ITR ones, will be getting slotted rotors and new pads aswell. just wanted to get rid of my rear drums and i've been offered dc2 4x100 rear disk brakes.

the entire trailing arms and all should work. you will need new handbrake cables tho , off a ek1 or em1

so its easier to just get the setup from an ek4 or em1?

wee im right =] lol.

i thought em1 was 4x100.
dont know where i got 114.3 from :/

any who.

civic parts onto another civic is logically more smart than dc2 parts onto a civic.
i mean that is if the same part is available with lower cost. =]

so would i need to replace my handbrake cable if i use ek4/em1 rear disk brakes?

yes. you need the handbrake cable off the EM1 or ek1 sedan. Its adifferent design to the drum handbrake cable and alittle bit longer to suit the ej8 body

so its best to probably go to a wrecker and ask?

yes

or hang around here - these 4x100 262mm conversions pop up once in awhile

vampzzz

already can get a conversion, just need the handbrake cable or does the conversion come with it?
