dont
bobble head = fail
imagine this
youre driving along at say, 80km/h
suddenly, some thing happens, a car pulls out, or you lack attention and go towards a tree
at that speed a 150gram bobble head will have that much momentum it will have teh force of a brick
imagine a brick flying around teh cabin
not nice
but, if you wanna do it, keep trying the double sided tape

do you use armour all or similar on teh dash?
if so, thats why, coz the whole point of that is to stop sticky shit lol
so get a damp cloth and wipe down the area
then try again

An alcohol swab should cut through any surface protectant, then you can stick whatever down.

thx
at the moment I sit my bobble head on the Anti Slip mat haha
oh i think ive got the same problem ere, my dad just put sh itloads of armor oil on the dash and my friend bought me a rabbit bobble head. If I use velcro/double sided tape = how do i take that off later?

buy prepsol you can get it from any auto shop.... apply it to the area you want to attach the thing... it will clean the surface and then you can use double sided tape and it will stick lar....
What is Prepsol ?
Prepsol in known under many different trade names eg. Prepwash, Autoclean, Solwash etc. It is a solvent cleaner used to clean panels of dirt, grease, silicone, natural oils (such as finger marks) etc. Sign panels, banners, vehicle panels etc are cleaned with this solution prior to adhering self adhesive vinyl. This ensures good adhesion between the products.

Hey Kelz.... if you want to take off the bobble head....
just rip the bobble head off the double sided tape & with the remaining double sided tape on the dash...
all you need to do is get a small amount of Prepsol on a clean cloth and then rub it on the remaining double sided tape on your dash gentle...
this will remove the remaining double sided tape off your dash...
thank u thank u rido! maybe later on, i might have to ask u what the name of the stuff is again lol ..

try silicon glue. Most adhesive cannot withstand the temp of being in the sun all day.
With silicone you can choose a matching colour and you can peel it off later if need be without damaging the interior.
i use gutter silicon cos its got alot of colours, about $6-10 in caulking gun form

Umm, please provide the physic calculation to back up this claim.
Hint: The speed of the bobble head won't be 80KM/hr. It's travelling at 0KM/hr while the car is moving, and only in the event it's dislodged and propelled mid accident will it's mass change. Assuming it's velocity went from 0 to 40KM/hr, the mass of a 180g object will not expand 2000% (3.6KG Brick).

you guys are so ****ing wrong.
obviously he was talking about when vtec kicks in, and the space and time continuum is bent and 180g objects become 3.6kg bricks and dark matter is formed. dumbass.

I think he means the FORCE that you'll feel from the bobble head will be the same as that as say a brick being dropped on your face. Relatively speaking, the bobble head will accelerate whilst you slow down and SMACK. nuff said.

Metho the dash first... then stick it down.
