What rpm should a B16a2 in an EG kick in at?

I was wondering what rpm should vtec kikc in at for my eg with a b16a2 motor. It currently kicks in at 5.5-5.75k rpm. Is that normal?

i dont think it matter what the car is. ecu and the engine itself dictates vtec crossover

your eg speedo maybe slightly off in displaying the true RPM. So as long as its constant it is healthy and normal.
