Hey guys, i ran a search but couldn't find anything that would answer my question, so here it goes. Im looking to purchase a HID kit for my euro and was just wondering apart from the size of the ballast, if there were any differences between the slim line ones and the traditional sized ones. Also if there were any advantages or disadvantages of one over the other.
Cheers

its just the size, depending on if your fussing over things sticking about, you would prefear to hide it so it looks cleaner. so the slim line one is great for this. truly nothing different about the two. only advantage i can think of is the easy tucking with the slim line one.

cheers for the prompt reply. not too fussed about tucking it away. engine bay isn't exposed too often to care

yea thats right, nothing different between them.
Usually the slim ones are good for bikes, as they have no room to mount the ballast.
I use the slim ballast for my car, no problems at all.
