Hi alls, it's coming up to time i'm thinking of changing my car look, been doing my homework for past couple weeks, end up with these choices

1. 04-05 Euro R lip kit+ 06-08 Oem side skirt [very sexi look while remaining the luxury class of euro car]

2. Replica mugen kit [ very aggressive look, totally make the car looking ready to track ]

Now come up to the tough time of choosing one, what do we think here?

Has anyone having any of these set on? post me some pics pls, between my car is 06' lux with fog light [yep the facelift one]

To me, IMO my front bar look pretty identical to the 06-08 euro R kit, just slightly difference, hence no point of me getting the 06-08 cos it will just look the same with me adding sideskirt + rear

Can we all gurus here, PLEASE suggest me if i can fit the 04-05 into my 06? do i need to modify the front? where can i get the lip kit - how much it goes for now? [i did my homework, call most of dealer around my town, they dont have its anymore, especially i guess they dont sell lip kit, they just sell the whole kits, correct me if i'm wrong please]

My last question is, if i decide to get replica mugen kit, my need is to remain the fog light [as i oftenly doing interstate trip, it's winter guys]. I spoke to jetspeed - carmate, i wanted to remain my fog light, is it possible to do its with customise the front bar to fit in the fog? [jetspeed quote me extra 250 for this, so all up 2350 <--- does this sound alright, [supplies -paint -customise front bar -fit]

sorry for tons of questions, and please dont say, search previous posts, as i'd done alots in these 2-3 weeks [ 2-4 am bedtimes everynight, my eyes r going PANDA]

cheers

Why would you be looking at the EuroR kit if you have a EuroR already?

If you're trying to retro-fit the kit then I think the only things necessary for the swap is the bumper, hood and grill.

peronal, I like mugen kit. but if you buy replica make sure the fittings is ok. otherwise you will waste your money on fixing it. can you tell me where are you going to buy the kit from? I also interested to get the Mugen kit. my car is 2004 model.

You have to consider the fact that if you get the 03-05 Euro R front lip, you'll need the bumper as well if you have an 06+.

Yes the front is similar, but the 06 euro r/sports/limited edition front lip doesnt have that plastic cover near the fog lights. Which i think makes it look a lot better.

as darkii said, u need to install a 03-05 bumper to fit the 03-05 euro R front lip
the sideskirts and rear bar wouldnt be a problem since 03-05 and 06-08 sides and rear are interchangeable in terms of bodykits (as far as i know) but if u want an 03-05 euro R lip, you need to also source an 03-05 front bumper

to retain your foggies, yes, you would need a custom job done. 2350 sounds about right for labour and parts etc but personally i wouldnt get mine done @ jetspeed, only because i'd prefer to get mine done with peter @ bodyform. that and also a few years back my friend had some issues with jetspeed, but this was 2 years ago. dunno if they have since cleaned up their act

thats personal preference however...plus peter has his reputation for being very fastidious and particular with his work. I'm sure bodyform can also do a custom jobbie for you for your fogs but its entirely up to u if u wanted to get it done all at the same place instead of lugging your bodykit parts around

You need to change the rear bumper as well as the location of the reflector slightly different. I got my mugen kit from CarQuest in Perth. A++ grade fibreglass material.

why would you want a 03 euro-r kit on a 06?
way to much work and money.

what about the modulo?
it doesn't look as similiar to no body kit.

I agree changing the bumper is going to cost an arm and a leg. I'd get the 06+ Sports/Limited kit, if i didn't already have it.

Modulo kit looks great! I'm contemplating sticking one on my Euro after I get some new wheels onto it.

OEM ftw

you can say it's all original honda parts..

this way when you do sell it.. you can attract non-sporty buyers
