Cant decide between these 2 profile tyres for a dc2r car is at stock height now but will i have any rubbing problems if i lower it later on with the wider 215 tyre? rim is 17x7 btw.

it will depends the offset of your rims, if the offset not too aggressive, both profile should fit no problem

Yea i ended up going with 205/40's i got a wheel allignment done aswell but now the steering wheel feels loose and as if i have to turn the wheel more to make it turn then i did before.

You made the right choice. If you went from stock rims to 7 inch wide the steering will definitely feel heavier, requiring more effort.

Na i didnt go from stock i went from 16s not sure what width on 205/50/16 the steering felt very strong but now with these new rim/tyre it feels loose and i dont know how to explain it but when i turn it feels like the wheels arent touching the ground if that makes sence lol could also be that i went from potenza g3's to a cheaper tyre and it doesnt grip as much.

Im going to put the old ones back on the front on the weekend to see if its not something to do with the wheel alignment they did

As your tyres wear they also get heavier in the steering, new tyre always feel much lighter.
