For mid range speakers i love pioneers but thats just me....
btw 6x9's dont usually come with tweeters as a pack only splits do.
i'm guessing 6x9's in the rear and tweeters for the front dash or higher door area to give some higher frequency to your setup?

With tweeters you can buy separate tweeter speakers but they wont function anywhere close to a Split speaker setup (5/5.5/6inch driver with tweeter and crossover). Your probably better of selling your front speakers atm and just buying a set of splits that come with tweeters.
For the splits i recommend something like these for a lower budget:
http://www.pioneer.com.au/Products/Car%20Entertainment/Speakers/TS%20A1702C.aspx
And these for a higher budget:
http://www.pioneer.com.au/Products/Car%20Entertainment/Speakers/TS%20D1720C.aspx
There are equivalent setups with alpine or rockford fosfate etc which are just as nice.
With the 6x9, i would still stick with pioneer but thats just my opinion.

these are 5 ways tho. It just depends on what type of sound you want. you can also get two ways.
but again you can get similar setups from other companies, i just like pioneers midrange speak setups thats all.

Try stay away from strathfeild and walking in there and picking up speakers that look cool because you will probably get something you will find later you wont like

How much are you looking at spending on the 6x9's?
The speakers you get come down to the budget you have and ofcourse the way the speakers sound to you.

I would recommend you for Pioneer, JL, or Alpine.
However, I suggest you put the coaxial for the rear. For the front stage, split system still better than coaxial.
Coaxial could produce quite descent low frequency (bass) if you don't want use sub woofer and will perfectly sitting at rear.
But it also depends on how many watts your head unit can produce because coaxial is usually bit power consumsion.
Hope this help you and would be great if you could give feedback for me please? :)
thanks

I have to agree with beep1011, using splits in the front is definitely a good idea. Having a tweeter and midbass driver designed for eachother with a matching crossover would make tuning and wiring a lot easier.

IF:
1) 6x9s are going in the parcel tray
2) your parcel tray seals airtight with your boot
3) you have an amp capable of powering at least 100wrms
THEN get these:

I think we are giving too many suggestions :p
What kind of sound do you want from your speakers and what type of music do you listen to?

As shopping said, there is no point throwing speaker suggestions his way without any indication of what he wants from the speakers.
We need to have a budget first then we can go from there.
So turtle, whats your budget?
O and denrie, you don' know me but I saw ou at the lights cumming out of wyndham this morning.
I was in the silver eg civic that drove past ya going into wyndham :P

Went MB crazy when I was finding the right system in my AE92. When it died, I bought an EG3 and it's too loud to have a system, so i'm selling all my shit.
Have two premium MB amps (mono block + 4 channel) and 2 MB Premium subs for sale. If anyone's keen, just PM me.

we can sit here and recommend speakers all day.
everyone likes different speakers.
not everyone likes the same types.
its best to listen to the speakers, before you buy them, and see what you like.
atm im using jbl component speakers with alpine 6x9's.
and a jaycar four channel amp.
personally i dont like pioneer speakers.

I use a Jaycar four chan amp same as crxdel501 110wrms
but i got mtx tweeter/4inch speakers in the front. and pioneer 6x9 in the back and they'r intense. my amp is only on 1/4 gain so i would hate to turn it up higher..
i hear alot of good things about mtx speakers as being great value for money
