Hey guys,
I was checking out some b16a camshafts the other day and noticed that the 2 low cam profiles per cylinder are different sizes. As in the two low cam lobes are different lift.

Anyone know exactly why this is the case?

Thanks

The low cam profiles are staggered to promote low rpm swirl of the intake mixture as it enters the combustion chamber which improves combustion efficiency.
