anyway to take the speedometre off odemetre,
so that i can put the odemetre on a differnt speedometre /and eventually into a diff cluster?
ive gotten the speedometre and odemetre out in 1 peice, and theres 2 screws, taken tthose off, and the only thing holding them together is the needle.
anyway to take the needle off?

ive tried that but it wont budge,
im scared i break it,
so the needle comes off if i pull up(towards myself)?
if u are 100% certain i will try again:)
be able to suggest where i hold or any tools that may be useful?

grab asclose as you can to the centre of the needle and pull towards you, i did it with my old cluster :) make sure you wear gloves or youll leave finger marks everywhere.

if you take off the needles, it is very likely when you put them back on, in the place you think they belong, it will be wrong.
you will have to play around a fair bit to get them right, by using something else to read your speed, so you know if they are right.
i once used a gps.

if you are unable to use a gps, you may be able to use this.
i also gave this a go when i took my needles off.
it just gives you a rough idea
if you can avoid taking the needles off, do so. i dont recommend it also
