Since my side skirt is damaged, im over fixing it. but the issue is now that theres some sort of glue, silicon thing thats stuck to my panel. is there a way of removing it without damaging the paint? Also the residue thats left on it, how do you get rid of it?

A claybar should do the trick.

Well that's if the glue is in little dry spots.
For just a smear of glue use a good Wax and grease remover.

if its the same glue that held my kenstyle rear apron onto the car, it will be thick, smeared along the length of the bar and very tough to pull off.
it almost looks like impossible to get off, but you can still save it!
1) get a heatgun/hairdryer
2) clean MF cloths
3) cut and polish rubbing compound
smear an MF with the compound, heatgun one end of the glue, and rub like mad. finish it up with a claybar
careful you dont swirl up the paint
