Hi Guys,

What do you think of Top Gun leads for a EK1 civic? Australian made which i like and apparently they are pretty good.

I have just bought a set of NGK spark plugs from Repco at the Ford employee price of $2.90 each. Tossing up between NGK leads and the Top Gun leads. Repco dont stock NGK leads, only Top Gun. I was quoted $82 for the Top Gun leads. Is that good?

Top Gun leads are O.K but NGK are better. I think Burson stock NGK leads

ngk are much much better. I have had top gun in the past, bad fitment terminals falling out of boots etc. One set from a n15pulsar sss and the other from a eg vti sedan keeps popping out.

Ngk hands down

there is a comparison somewhere with all the leading ignition leads, NGK came out the best.

yeah but all they do is either play off all the average names or who pays for the results to be published <<<marketing ploy!!!

when your chasing times ( splitting seconds) restricted class
and have brands fail or not last due to poor product quality
this speaks for its self

but at the end of the day a win is a win and i know what works for me and my cars...

p.s. winning anit all ways 1st its reliabilty and no dnf

oh,so oem or ngk leads keep failing on u,i see.

i didnt realise u have misplaced the results either,my sincerest.

i always wondered why a little backyard company like honda motor company japan, would spend millions developing an engine then slap a nasty set of leads on it & just bury their reputation for quality/reliable products, just dont seem to make sense does it?

Food for thought... Sometimes tried and tested disproves 'marketing test results'

couldnt agree more,

OEM leads,
tried & tested under laboratory conditions by honda motor company,
proven in over 10+....err.....i mean....1,000,000+ cars worldwide,
no marketing hype whatsoever:thumbsup:
