Looking for a new set of headlights. Came across these (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/1PC-JDM-HEADLIGHT-LAMP-FOR-1999-2000-HONDA-CIVIC-EK-VTi_W0QQitemZ370226077285QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Car _Parts_Accessories?hash=item5633319e65&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294 %3A50). Ive been looking hard, & it seems to me these dont have anywhere to fit the parker lights, only main/high beam & the indicator/turning signal...

In the US there isnt a requirement for 'city lights' (parkers)
there are some tho that have em on eBay, keep looking :)

I have those ones on my car at the moment, had to drill holes to fit the parkers in - not worth getting them mate, one of my headlights is starting to get water in it. Im looking for some decent ones myself.

the first thing youd need to do when u get them is to open them up and reseal them properly :)
otherwise buy jdm headlights (I dont like how they dont have a bulb guide in them tho, seems cheap lol)
or audm ones, paint them and reseal properly :)

Yeh the reason why I bought them cause someone smashed my rhs headlight, I couldnt find a spare one at a reasonable price so I got these. Im going to get the JDM ones, I think they are around $400 or so hey?

jdm ones depending where u go are around 500 odd us delivered, traders here still are selling them for $1100 tho
Honda here wants $650 for both oz spec ek4 lights, I'd also invest in the cheap headlight protectors as well as they work very well and are easy to clean :)

why dont you just do a DIY black housing of your current headlights?
Here's a DIY:

And here's an example of mine:

thanks man...
yea mine are sorta going that way slowly but i heard this is the best thing to do:
The best way to do this based on my experience is:
1. wet sand it using 1200 grit depends on how deep/bad the scratches are
2. wet sand again with 2000 grit until all sand marks from 1200s gone and you should be able to feel the smoothness of your headligh.
3. apply autosol, you should be able to see the progress after applying this
4. then finish it off with wax or car polish.
ps. steps 3 & 4 helps a lot when looking after your headlights.
I will post some before and after pics of my headlight. The time when I slightly melted it when I was diy blacking h/lights
Hope this helps you out
I was thinkin about doing it to polish up mine.

i did similar to this, and can confirm that sanding does work, however learning from the first time round i did the following.
1. Prepare the light by washing them with warm soapy water and using a scotch bright sponge with the green scourer
2. then wipe clean and tape the surrounding area with tape
3. Wet sand thoroughly with 1200 grit sand paper, i do recommend doing this thoroughly to get the get rid of the dull layer, otherwise if you rush it, you will still see yellow if looking at an angle
4. Wash and repeat with 2000 grit paper, again you need to do it thoroughly
5. wipe dry with lint free cloth or towel
5. use a sponge to apply Cut and Polish
6. Using a smooth buffing cloth, rub it hard, you're melting the polish into the plastic.
But remember to try to keep the car out of direct sunlight, as you may find it you 'll need to keep doing this every few months or so
here are the pics of when i did it

yeah i would like to do it that way, i tried to get the dullness out using regular cut & polish & some elbow grease, did nothing, then my dad tried it & they came out pretty well, my elbow grease was crap!
I would like to try the sandpaper method. also where i park the car for work, is in the sunlight. i can park it undercover, underneath but i like to kinda check up on the car while at work (theft), so i park it where i can see it.

you should be fine, as long as ur cautious and stay checkin up on it you most likely wont melt it. If you walk away n not check up on it then ur most likely to melt it..btw i did mine in an oven.
