Heavy duty is more like a stronger version of an OEM clutch, still has everyday driving characteristics, but higher clamping force.

"Stage" clutches are more into track/circuit or higher powered cars.

Between heavy duty and stage 1. Stage 1 would be less comfortable, harder to manage a smooth take off, and harsh engagement. I mean thats compared to the HD. Itll still be driveable.

As for the question, which one is better.
If youre car is stock or thinking of bolt on mods, HD is more than sufficient.
If youre thinking of getting n/a motor built. Stage 1 would be a better investment.
