do the parker lights come on dim or full strength?
start by checking the bulbs dont have a broken & dangling stop light filament

im talking about inside the bulbs themselves, the filaments can break & short out between the 2 circuits.
if u remove the brake light bulbs & the problem goes away then u found the problem.

Check that you are using the correct brake light bulbs (twin filament).. If you use a indicator bulb (single filament) for your brake lights it will cause this.

Man i had the same problem with my car, it was a c**t to find out what the problem was. i change bulbs, checked and rechecked wiring and nothing seem to be wrong which left me really frustrated.

In my case it turned out to be one of my fuses. i was using a 10 instead of a 7.5 (top row second in), replaced it and the problem went away. i really dont know how it works but it worked for me.

Might work for you or as some of the other guys have said you might need a twin filament bulb.

Try you luck and see how you go

Lights are twin filament and correct brake light bulbs are being used

I'd start with replacing the globes first to the correct ones. Had this problem happen to me ages ago, and it was one of the filaments in the globe that broke off and was hanging down to the park light circuit... sending current through the entire park light system... :)
