EG5 - Wiring?

I just bought a Sony USB headunit, took out my old Pioneer head unit, can't seem to know the wiring, it all has different colours from the Sony one, what can I do? :S

If you still have the honda plug, go to an auto/audio store and see if they have a honda to sony wiring harness.

Otherwise heres the wire colours for a typical honda stereo.

Just match it up to the sony one using the head unit's manual.

If you've got the old headunit still have a look at the back, should hopefully have the wiring diagram on there to help you match it up to the new headunit.

all you need to know is, red is iginition, yellow is power , black is ground. each speaker shud have a colour coded partner wire. and there shud be a few excess wires but they wont have colour coded partners. they would antenna remote etc etc. blue is usually remote.

buy a multi metre and test light, have it done in no time, test light for power and black for ground, continuity for speakers
