Yo just installed my Sony Headunit USB myself, everything is fine I guess, it's just abit wierd or I could be tripping.

When I turn my music up, the left front speaker seems to be louder than the right, why is that? Isn't suppose to be both the same? What could I done wrong here? :S

Checked the speaker balance setting? If it's center then I dunno.

depends on the recording as the music people steal from the net isn't the same as buying from the store.

Not much illegal music these days is ripped from vinyl or radio.
Even if it is a rip from a music streaming service, the balance wont really be off.

If its really noticeable then try some tests, swap the channel the speakers are connected to and swap the speakers. If its nothing obvious its either in your head in or its the acoustics of your car...

Check the balance first.

Was your speakers installed properly? have you seen the speakers? maybe its a mis-match speaker... lol... dodgy set. or one side broken perhaps?

is it noticeably different?

Also try driving with ur window up

As you have the window open you lose sound and the left sounds louder

sounds silly but try it

Maybe you connected the two speaker wires on one of the speakers the wrong way. Try switching them.
I would take that speaker out, connect the other one from the other side just to see if it does the same.
Worst case scenario, go back to the store and complain about... the customer's always right no? haha (not always, but it's they have to follow that policy if they want to keep customers happy!)

Dude. Is your leg covering the drivers side speaker when you sit in the car?

Happens to my s2000. My leg covers the speaker grill and less sound comes out.

Could be the same for you!
