filter wont do any BIG different alone
with matched HEI with a good tune will help yr ride breath a bit better
but i cant admit that the filter alone is shit

Don't like Spoon stuff, no logos and no stickers, can't even tell what brand is it.

The Spoon air filter is just the same as stock really, only breath like 5-10% better, but I guess is good enough for small mods.

Get Powerfilter 1 or 2, really good filter from Monaster Japan, or trust which also make good replacment panel filters. but u can't get them in Aus :D

typeG - any more comments on the spoon air filter? is it louder when you go full throttle off the lights? (ie same effect as a pod filter)

i got trust filter for mine and engine noise might be placebo effect but you can hear this little whistle noise kick in at 3,600rpm(vtec engagement) which i cant hear with standard filter.

Had my friend in my car when i installed the filter and we were listening for the vtec to kick in and hear this little whistle, we had a slight laugh as he has a DC5R which lets you know when it kicks in

was it a direct swop? did u need to use sealent to seal up any gaps between the filter & stock airbox?
