Theres a whole range of factors your talking about here man. Take a look on Car Sales and do your research. Gain some knowledge and you'll know what a good buy is.

mate, as has been stated- a lot of factors impact the cost. Namely kms, condition, history. Currently the market says you'll pay 14k for a 160ish kms reasonable condition car. Up to 19k for an immaculate 100k car. Problem is that price in artificially high due to the fact p-platers are still allowed to drive them where other options (turbo or v8s) are now out of the picture. They're asking silly money really, but if people pay it who can blame them,

I paid the same price for mine as what a mate sold his evo for. it is mint tho. I also sold a dc2r a couple years ago for 13.5k because it was a dog and the vin didnt match.

Yeah as has been said above the condition of the car and km's really impact the price. Sorts u get what u pay for thing. Iv been in the market for a long time and seen a few go for 11k very cheap however very rough. I was about to buy a red one for 9500 a few weeks before purchasing mine but it woulda coated 17k all up getting it into good condition...
Also mods dosnt really play s factor to the price slot of people actually ask more because they have a close to factory standard example. 14k is a good price to pay . Under that is very good cheap

Just make sure it's been really well maintained. Alot of people think that DC2R's that have been street driven by a grandma and serviced every 10,000km's, will be in better condition than one that has been owned by a enthusiest that has driven the car hard and has been serviced on average 2500km's. Not true at all. Best thing to do, which is what I did when I bought my car, was to have the owner drive it first so I could see how anal he/she was about the car. Only then would I look at the service books, and then the actually car itself. If everything was good, then buy it. Rather buy a car that has had everything changed so that you don't have to do it - because trust me it is expensive to maintain them religiously. Alot of people sell their cars when belts/mounts etc are due to be changed.
