Just whacked some typeS 17s and pro kit springs onto my base dc5.. nice subtle drop and sits nicer than stock.. only been 24 hours so I'm hoping for a tiny bit of extra settling to take place

My review of the springs.... awsome, the ride is real nice, almost like stock but with a nice drop and just that bit of extra stiffness that you want

springs cost 500.. probably can get a bit cheaper if you get the from the U.S, i wasn't prepared to wait for postage though..

I'd recomend these springs deffinately.. but it does depend on what your looking for. Personally I wanted a modest drop, slightly more rigid ride and a spring that would work well enough with stock shocks, so for me they are perfect

If you want to drop your car on it's ass, or have a more track-ready setup then you'd be looking past these eibachs i'd asume.. the ride with my car isn't hugely different from stock, no bump-stop smashing over potholes ect but it does have less body roll and noticabley firmer.. so big thumbs up from me

can you post more pictures? park on a flat surface, if you know what i mean, so i can see the all-rounder-look.
Yea will do, those pics were pretty rushed and were taken in the dark.. I'll get a proper flat side short and post it up

are you using eibach pro kit with stock shocks? i'm thinking of upgrading from my current king lows to eibach and wondering if the ride will be any better. it's bumpy as hell atm on oem shocks/kings.

mate these springs are ideal.. very comfotable yet still slightly stiffer than stock.. I used to have King super lows on my 94 prelude and the ride was shocking (looked good though)

I think if you want a nice ride you have to accept the fact you can't have your car slammed on it's ass

To me the drop is perfect anyway, I use my car for work and drive clients around and shit so I didn't want a rediculously stiff ride, these springs are perfect mix between lowness and liveability

ps. these are on stock shocks and I feel the shocks will be just fine

sounds good.. mine are just king lows not super low but it's still quite bumpy. might just switch over to eibach.. or would u upgrade the shocks first?

true true.

post the pictures up! still waiting..

Here you go.. quick side-shot using my iphone but gives a decent impression of the drop, althrough in real-life & from different angles it actually looks a bit lower than in that photo (I think the road-level might be angling away from the car a bit).. but yeah it's only a modest drop, wouldn't recomend them if your looking to slam your car

skirts & front lip.. modest and sleak rather than obvious and flashy

i'm looking at so many pictures tryin to decide though. It's hard because there's not many examples like mine, base spec with the dark blue colour, so I've gotta kinda guess how it's going to look
