Hi All
I did a search on this but came up with nix.
In my travels, I frequently stay at a country vic motel, the owner drives an 8th Gen V6-L, we exchange honda stories and how much we love our cars, she has over the years driven BMW's a few Euros and now a Accord V6-L.
I was told today that when her car was 3 months old with 5k on the clock, it "started running funny". Honda shipped from the city an identical car for her to drive for a fortnight while they REPLACED HER BRANDNEW V6 ENGINE under warranty:eek:!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soon after getting it back, an "electrical problem" rendered her inside door locks in operative, trapping her inside her car on a 39 deg day, only a passerby could open the door from outside to let her out!
This raises a few questions for me a relatively new Honda owner:
1-Does the current V6 have a rep for blowing up
2-Has anyone heard of a similar story around the traps
3-Need I be worried, I know cars are full of moving parts, all brands have their issues?
