Finally a new CBR250, not the same spirit as the old model RR (its a single cylinder) but a welcome addition to the model line up. Wont be released in Australia until next year but i have had the chance to have a sit on one and its comfortable and a good size for average sized people. From what I hear its got good torque and will cruise on the freeway no problem.

I like the back as ninzee said I think they are trying to copy that 'ants head' series of bike or whatever it was called, although it doesn't look half bad in black, it kind of covers its weird angles.

If anyone is in Melbourne and wants to see it, it will be at the Melbourne motorcycle expo starting the 26th of November.

Intro prices are:
$5990 for non-ABS
$6490 for ABS
Not sure when it ends but it will go up $500 when it does. What does everyone think of the bike? I'm getting my bike license at the end of the month. Was going for the old CBR250R but considering this since its newer (no where near as powerful though) and fuel injected (reason why I didn't want the ninja 250).

Price: $5490 ($5990 with ABS) – manufacturer's price before dealer and statutory costs
The standard model's pricing has been set at $5490 (plus on-road costs), while the ABS-equipped version goes for $500 more. The model's release has sparked an all-out price war in the Australian entry-level motorcycle market, with Kawasaki quick to slash $1500 from the price of its top-selling Kawasaki Ninja 250R (now $5999 plus on-road costs), and Daelim knocking $500 off its VJF250 (now $4500 plus on-road costs).
