Went to whoop ass wed drags, at the Kwinanna Motoplex, over here in Perth lastnight.
Now i will run my Euro eventually and i just wondered realistically what time i should expect?
I know its times in mags, driven by pro's etc, but it has to lugg my fat ass down and a boot full of doof, so yeah, what could i expect?
Will be near on empty in terms of fuel.
(reaction time doesn't matter so much as it doesnt affect ET on wed street meets)
Thoughts??

Well, I had a passenger and 2/3 tank and at that time with zorst, CAI and VAFCii, full interior and street tyres on standard PSI, 14 degrees, ran 15.25
But at Heathcote on a 36 degree temp, I ran 15.7 and 16.2 with aircon on...
0-100m best was 7.02, haven't been able to crack the 7 mark but I guess with more practice I will.... Grrrrr...
Hope this Helps...

Looks like you have some heavy additionals - stereo equipment inc sub, body kit, lux is 40kg more than standard, and your 18" chrome style rims look really heavy. My tip is 16 seconds flat over the 1/4. Anything better than that and you will have done really well.

As I said on wednesday night Tim, you need neon's first so you can float down the 1/4 mile on a cloud of light!!!!

Timbo mate...
Due to ur 18inch alloys, sound system and ur big stature frame, & having no performance mods on ur car i will probably say low 16's for 1/4 mile...
Hey Timbo if u thinking about putting ur car down for the wed nights drag i may put in my car as well. I may put back my standard alloys just for the night..
Give me a yell if u do.. Hopefully i won't be working..

Omar and Timbo. I ran 16.2 in the civic before any mods.
Letting omar drive is a good idea. Theres a weight saving of 55kg just there ;)

Make sure you sneak the car off to the burn out pad at the end when Tim aint lookin!i'm thinkin more of
run the 1/4, sit a nice burnout in the pit
then drive out the gates of the plex, north up the freeway and lock up [EUROTIC] in my garage
only thing i have to do is somehow get my teg home http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/images/icons/icon10.gif (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/images/icons/icon10.gif)
on a more serious note, whoever has run the 1/4 with a euro, do they all have that rev limiting function in neutral
seen it on timbo's
just wondering if you can launch higher than the ~4500rpm it limits it to
and EuroAccord13, u ran the 1/4 with ur aircon on??
my car runs sluggish with the A/C on, sooo slow :(

When the car is stationary, the rev limiter is at 4500RPM, but if the car is rolling and in neutral, it will still rev till the cut out at 7400RPM
As a general note, Aircon robs 8Kws off the car when it is in operation..... :(

got a new PB lastnight of 16.2 flat
my poor heavy car lol
albii
22-12-2005, 06:04 PM
problem is the extra weight of the luxury...plus your stereo of course. quickest i have seen for a lux is 15.8 but the standard was 15.2...big diff there.

woah.. a 16.2 is impressibe for a car that weighs 1640kg and has 4cyl lol
how much does your stereo weigh!?
PERTH_EURO
22-12-2005, 09:58 PM
not sure how much the stereo weighs Chris.
The sound deadening would probably be the heaviest bit tho
