ive found many from america but dont seeem to trust worthy towards it as last time i put adjustable springs for my car, the springs were so small i dont think it would of even fit my motorbike.

i am a p plater to turbo is a tempting but no go zone

Adjustable springs are crap that's why you had problems.

I've had two CD5's and most if not all of my parts were from America. They love these cars over there and the mod scene is huge.

I suggest you have another go otherwise finding second hand parts from these forums shouldn't be too hard.

The CAI can even be home made if you have a little car-tech knowledge:

Here's how to make one using the stock intake pipe:

Start with a resonectomy (remove the resonator box from behind the driver side front bumper). After you've removed that remove the stock air box leaving a nice big space in your engine bay with a hole big enough to pipe a CAI through to the fender well.

With the stock intake pipe there are 2 small resonators attached to it...remove them (top and bottom plastic things) and seal up the holes using your imagination.

Next you'll find a heap of vacuum lines attached to the pipe. Find all the sources of these and remove the electrical parts attached as well. It's all rubbish. Just leave the hose from the upper portion of the pipe leading to the intake chamber (I think thats what its led to...can't remember but it's the big thick hose).

After you've done all this you're left with a nice free flowing pipe that isn't as heat-soaking as a metal pipe. At the end of this attach a 3" 90 degree elbow of your choice of material and attach a cone type pod filter to the end.

Sounds like a lot of work but it can be done in less than an hour.

Here's some pics to get you thinking:

As for extractors, exhausts and other parts there is a myriad of designs available on eBay and as long as you stay away from the China sellers you should be ok. Go for brand name parts.

Have you chased up the traders yet? Or posted in Where to Buy thread?
