I believe only the CXI didn't come with rear discs in the EK.

^ and it has smaller front calipers compared to GLi and VTi-R
And also to add on, i think the pre-facelift EJ8 has rear drum brakes?
Yeah Cxi and 96-98 EJ8/Vti Coupe had drums on the rear.

i actually went to check out a gli with rear drums before purchasing my ek1. maybe its just the decal, but why would anyone stamp a gli to their cxi, if anything might as well chuck a vtir sticker

Late 99/00 gli's came with rear disc brakes too
and obviously ek4 vtir came with rear disc.

Maybe, i was looking at the weight difference between the EG and EK on redbook and there is only like 15kg between the GLI models, plus the EK has a stiffer chassis. But I love EGs :(
sent you a PM 89lude.

i think so.... if i get the chance, ill see if i can measure em up when i rotate my tires around, but im pretty certain most eks have 262mm rotors, and then ek9 have the bigger 282mm rotors, im surprised honda didnt use atleast a twin caliper setup on there flagship model... or even better 4 pot calipers.... if nissan could pull it off why couldnt honda? cheap arse honda LOL

Probably because they werent built as track cars and their single piston calipers are hugely sufficient to lock the wheels up.
