Hey guys

Im pretty keen on an EP3R - I'd prefer a 2004 model but will take an earlier one if the price is right.

I have found one in Canberra, which is where I am, and it seems pretty good except for a few minor things:

- Its has a full buddyclub body kit. I like it, but something more subtle, so would like to put the original kit on, which the owner no longer has. How much will an OEM kit cost me, secondhand?

- It has a buddyclub carbon bonnet, which I like, but will need an OEM one for rego purposes. How much will this be?

- cigarette burn in the drivers seat

- paint chip in the spoiler, and on the left rear wheel arch.

- no muffle as the OEM muffler will not fit with the Buddyclub rear bar.

The owner gave me a very low price, by faaaar the cheapest on the market. So it might be worth it if the issues are easily fixed.

anythign esle I should be aware of?

Cheers

Given that it's not really the year model you want, and it's already been modified to a point where you can't live with it...it sounds like you'd be better off getting one elsewhere. Surely there are some in Sydney worth a drive to look at.

Yeah would prefer a facelift model.

What sort of laptimes can an EP3R do around wakefield?

And considering a Golf GTI for just a bit more, any reason why the EP3R would be the better car? Tough choice here, love em both

- Buddyclub bodykit is so ugly. Sourcing a second hand one in Australia will be pretty damn difficult. Best bet is to import one from Japan.

- Bonnet may be a bit easier to find as few people will change over to CF bonnets. Still, seeing as EP3s are uncommon you'll have to be pretty lucky.

- Cigarette burn in drivers seat? GG.

- No muffler? Wtf no comment.

Unless you're getting a ridiculously good price (and I'm thinking low 10s), then I think you'd be better off finding a cleaner example.
