hey guys anyone have any experiences with low or super low rails? and which brands i should be looking at and model. i hear that vision are discontinued, so its hard for me to find them. im about 5"11". i feel the standard EK9 rails sit a little high for me.

any input will be much appreciated.

thanks

I feel your pain man, I'm 6'5" and drive and ek4 hatch....I probs look a bit rediculous and would love some low rails too :P
Does anybody know if the low rails can be fitted to the standard VTi-R seats? Cos i'm poor and cant afford Recaros yet lol

i imagine that Bride make super low rails for the EK but whether they fit the original seats is something else.
the Bride RO rails which i believe are the lowest rails of the Bride range, offer up to a 30mm (in some car models) but the drop available in the EK is not specified.

they are around 300 from JDM concept.
but you can probably find them cheaper.

btu then you need new seats, which are pricey... a set of sr3 Recaros will fit. (i have a jazz with Bride MO rails - which are essentially the same- and i have a recaro SR3)
btu they are up to 1400 for a good quality pair.

wise choice.
just remember that they arent ADR approved so if u ever get ur car checked out swap the rails back to stock ahaha

I highly doubt a police officer will pull over a honda just to check their rails to see if its ADR approved

You would be quite surprised what the police will do in Melbourne

They wont do it for that reason only.

they would most likely be drawn to why the car has a custom bucket seat in it and then give you some kind of defect notice. im not sure how it is over east. but in WA we get yellow stickers, and it means we have to go down to the pits, and get them to make sure its ok.

I know another jazz owner who got pulled for an excessively noisy exhaust, when he was pulled over they saw he had strut braces in the car and gave him a yellow for the braces and exhaust.
he went to the pits, they said he had too lil offset on the wheels, no inner guards, damage engine mount. it came to be very expensive.

but they can be really picky if they wanna give your car an overhaul.
you just need something to make it stick out. like a custom bucket seat.
