fd1 3rd gear problem

hey guys im not sure if this is normal but when i was driving home from work, my 3rd gear just jerk out of no where then later on i went 5k rpm on the 3rd gear after that the rpm immediately rose quicker and the km/ph didnt go up it felt like it went into neutral while in 3rd gear?is the clutch or gear broken? im still under warrenty but not sure honda will cover it

I'd say the clutch if it were doing it with other gears (esp. 1st gear). Maybe synchos?

honda should cover it if it's still under warranty

also how many km's had the car done

also check the transmission/gearbox oil/fluid levels

They won't cover clutches though, since they're a "wear and tear" part

Yeah sounds like clutch to me also. FD harry What the history of the car, are you the original owner, how many Kms on the odometer ?

yeah im the original owner had the car for 2 months and the car has only done 2000km

the place i bought the car from is about 4hour drive away but im going to be taking it to my local dealer. i just hope they will cover it since its still a kinda new car

Man the car still new they should cover it no matter what unless they can prove driver abuse..2000km is nothin I'd be hitting them up
