Technical - EG Vti Sedan and EG Vti Hatch similarities / differences

So I've been searching around online for technical info and just wanted to confirm the following regarding eg vti sedan and eg vti hatches

1 - sedan weights roughly 10kg extra? sedan is 1062kg and hatch is 1051kg .. does this sound right? i would have imagined a sedan would weight a fair bit more?

2 - wheel bases are the same at 2570mm?

3 - front track widths are identical at 1475mm and rear track widths differ by 10mm 1475mm and 1485mm respectively?

So due to the above, hypothetically speaking, the handling characteristics should be similar?

I believe the 10kg difference because the rear doors and boot lid are made out of recycled aluminium cans that's how ****ing tinny they are

You could feel the tail of the car better in the EG hatch~
I like the EG more than my ex DC4

Doors on the hatch are also quite heavier than sedan.

Overall sedan is only slightly heavier.

of course theyre going to have the same track and wheelbase, theyre the same car/chassis

the difference in the overall length and rear track is in the boot.

what sedan are you referring too? sedan weights vary depending on model

ok so i just got confirmation from an owner of a vti sedan and he said when he weighed in his vti sedan at wsid, it was 12XXkg minus the rear seats and sound deadening??!?!!?!?!

what weights have some vti hatches scored at wsid or on a weigh bridge?
