Honda Accord Exi CD5 2.2 94 model Manual.....Idle Problem !!!

Can anyone help ?

My Honda accord idles at over 2500rpm Cold start and when warmed up idle sits high between 1500-2500rpm.


i have inspected the idle air control valve and cleaned with carby cleaner, taken off the throttle body gave it a clean everything seems fine and also looked at the fast idle thermo valve.

Sounds like someone has adjusted your accelerator cable too tight.
Is your accelerator pedal very sensitive?
