Hey guys,

My car accidently reversed into a parking bump and has pushed my exhaust a little forward causing the flexipipe to be pushed together a tiny bit. Its nothing major but the noise of a leaking exhaust can be annoying at times.

I was told you can DIY fix it by heating it up with a heatgun and just pulling it out, has anyone heard of this method, or should i just go get it replace for peace of mind?

Thanks in advance

Did you tell your car off, call it a bad car and not to do it again?

That muffler sealant wont work on flex pipe because... it flexes. Take it to an exhaust specialist and get it re-welded/replaced. Sadly, any other option will result in you having to visit the exhaust shop in the long run.

If it's leaking gas then nothing short of a weld is going to fix it.
