Aparently the SS is compatible with the EDFC... i remember one of the traders or members saying it in the traders forum

Anyway, i'll move this to Sussy Tech... you'll get more replies since it's not ACCORD related.

not all the Tein SS are compatible with EDFC

but tsx (euro) is NOT compatible

well if u look carefully, the US and Jap Tein sites and products are completely different... that's wot i found wen looking at spring rates between same models... e.g. Tien SS for EK9 from US has harder springs then same coilover from Japan (sorry can't remember exactly if this is rite... but u get the point). There's a whole other market for Tein in the US... they make specific models for their market, and vice versa in Japan.

So u prob need to look at the Jap ones cos i assume they're the ones u'll most like be getting. Just my thoughts... correct me if i'm wrong ;)

EDFC compatability sometimes relates to the required trim clearance for parts under bonnets and boot etc. My TEIN HA are listed at EDFC compatible only with piston exchange, but they are working fine with EDFC now (without having changed the pistons), but parts of the trim needed modification to fit the stepper motors in, but that's a sacrafice that i'm prepared to live with considering the convienence of having EDFC.

Also just a note that the D2's, while damper adjustable, don't have a "click" feature like the TEINs so getting even damper settings from side to side may be a bit more difficult.

Tein ss are compatible with the EDFC. I have them on my car and the place that installed them was keen to fit one of the units.
