funny idle need help

Hi guys :wave:



I have a problem; my car idles funny when I am driving then stopping at the lights.



When I get to the lights and the car has stopped, the idles drops to about 1300 stays there for about 1 or 2 seconds, then drops to 700 and back up to 900 and then stays there.

I don’t think it is normal, could someone tell me what is wrong with the car, thanks for your help much appreciated.

its normal.

the ecu has an upper and lower boundary of target idle, and it cycles through this range depending on engine coolant temp (and other factors)
