c-pillar bar adjusting

hey just wondering does anybody no which way to adjust a c-pillar bar do make t so it is pushing out wards or do you make it so it is pulling inwards as i have mine pushing outward and it seems to come loose and i have to tighten every month or so and dont want it pushing through the body and dinting it thanx in advanced

it should only be tightened enough so it doesnt move. over tightening any brace will put stress on the chassis.

ok thanx but itshen it is like that it seems to rattle alot

umm what rattles alot?

the brace isnt tight enough if its rattles.. or the bolts are tight enough. re check evrything and then tightn the cpilarr brace. should fix the issue.

but it just seems to come loose i checked bolts there tight. but after a couple of weeks the bar starts to rattle again so i thighten it again and does it again. all lock nuts are tight
