thanks ben, how about front strut bars?

As proven , EG/EK and DC share the same strut point dimensions (amoungst others) so all shocks and strut bars are basically interchangeable...i cannot sat if ur EF is the say tho - it has the same top mount but measure up and try it yourself and tell us for sure !

Honda use the same strut tower spacings on ED, EF, EG, EK, DA and DC, for both front and rear. Just a case of making sure the interior panels in the rear allow fitment. For the front, depending on the engine and wiring, the ED Civic can be a pain in the @ss.

Jord: Yeah, that is the problem I am currently facing. They are available but I know for example, Whiteline do not offer a ED/EF Front Strut brace despite offering ones for EG, EK and DC. The Whiteline rear strut brace is universal...same part number.

Allegedly, 5R Racing(I think that was the brand??) make one for the ED/EF. Check the Ozhonda traders and see whether they have them available.

I bought a cusco ef front brace from an ozhonda trader and it was a tight fit. I'd be reluctant to try an ed, eg or dc2 front brace for that reason unless i just happened to have one lying around.

I am actually considering making my own strut brace at home. Get some brackets laser cut and make up a steel pipe to fit from strut to strut and then weld it up. Give it a paint job and see how it goes.

this is how mine is placed. this is pretty much the only brace I know of that goes at the back of the TB.

Im trying to find out if I can either make some off this one or get some more through a supplier... they come from US.

They wont fit the standard ED Civic tho, Dual Carb air box and emission hose box are in the way.

the above one 'should' - it runs 3cm off the firewall and clears everything..

SINISTR: The ED Civic Emission Control Black Box sits on the firewall, extending out to where your brake booster hose joins onto your inlet manifold.

Just trying to find a pic so I can show you what I mean...

Here is a good example: http://tnttec.net/honda/DSC00011.JPG and http://tnttec.net/honda/DSC00012.JPG
