I just got a 95 VTIR. It seams to have a common problem with the 4WS light coming on ocasionally. I tried the bat. disconnect and it works for a couple of days. Where are the sensors? I might try the sensors and wheel alignament first. Any idea who in Sydney can fix it up?

When problems come up like this it's always best to take it to a aurthorised Honda service centre!
That's the problem wit 4WS cars, they're so expensive to fix da 4WS system!

Took the car to Honda. $225 for wheel and sensor alignement. Had to come back cause the steering wheel was off-centre but the light is gone. Hope it'll stay off. Thanks for your help. :)
Excellent - usually the alignment will do wonders - do you know why it was out of whack in the first place? quite possibly because the previous owner drove the car into a gutter, or parked the rear wheels against a gutter so that if they tried to turn the wheels, the rear wheels will fail to turn thus triggering the light

Would a wheel alignment fix any 4WS light problems or are there other adjustments required that the 4ws sensors read?

wheel alighnment is the starting point.
but most important is what code is in the ecu as wheel alighnment and sensor alighnment isnt always the answer
