HI guys,

Im currently residing in Croatia, Europe. I was planning to turbo my 1994 d16 del sol CRX. Are the $600-$900US turbo kits on EBAy reliable? What are all the componets I would need to successfully install a 200+hp kit onto my D16 CRX? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have only a basic understanding of turbos.
thanks for your help.

what i have heard Ebay stuff are not trust worthy.
manifold cracks under pressure.
turbos are cheap knock off items
oil lines and pipings are ok to use i guess.
but the most important items (FMIC, Manifold etc) are pretty rubbish from what i hear

dont buy a turbo off ebay, argh.
i only know basics behind turbo, but ebay!!! yeah dont. ebay has a very good reputation for selling things cheap, a turbo setup should never come cheap if u want it to perform, u want to go to a performance place which will do you up a custom turbo setup.

Lol SSAC/SS Auto Crap! I bought a setup just for mock ups and not to use. I have to reweld all their manifolds when someone brings me one of their kits! I wouldn't get any kit off ebay, you'll spend more in the long run with the Ebay kits. I wouldn't even trust the big name kits on there. Who knows if it is complete. Just spend the money and order a kit from a well known source and get what you ordered for sure.

A good kit from here, the U.S., will run $1800USD-5k+USD shipped.

look into the edelbrock kit... best bolt on turbo kit at a decent price for the d series motor. Will easily allow those power goals.

Yeah definately look into the Edelbrock kit - when I was looking in turbo kits for my B16 that was one of the choices.
