Hey guys, I just hit 1k on my 06 Civic and will prettyt much be paying for Service after the free 1k complimentary one.

I live in Sydney, Strathfield/Enfield area and am wondering where people get their cars serviced?

Does anyone know of a reliable place?

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to the Honda club.

It really depends on if you want to go through dealerships (and get dealership services) or want other companies. I am sure that one of the Sydney guys should be able to recommend you somewhere or if you are after a private workshop most will say Hannys.

Also have a search through previous threads as I believe this might have been covered.

everyone in Sydney goes to this place called Hanny's if they dont go to a dealer.

I go the dealer, $240-250. If you bring your own oil, $200-205. Is this price reasonable for you? Call up Hanny's at 02 9785 5115 and ask for a quote for your 10k service (for all items in the service book).

my mate was telling me that one of the workers at Hanny's refused to install a sway bar for him (most likely because the boss wasnt there to bust his chops) and does anyone know why its called Hanny's? because no one by the name of hanny works there...

Why is it called Harry's De Wheels? Harry doesn't work there. Why is it called Tony Romas? Tony doesn't work there.

Call first for a quote. Worst thing is to go there and end up with a service bill that is more expensive than at a dealer.

proconept is excellent ... only about $170-200 with best MOTUL oil. and they're running 3 civic race cars so they know their Hondas pretty well.
or RedSun performance .. they also do great job ... just abit before parramatta.
look them up.

hanny's is so funny .. but abit far away. he keeps telling me not to modify my cars as they already do a perfect job at Honda. He says they spend years and years on the design of parts .. and we just go and chuck them out.
