this was up a while ago..
it seems as though it's a jdm type r, that has had a front end collision.. hence why it has a audm front end..
but the cluster/red front recaros/steering wheel all show it's genuine or a good replica
just gotta check the stud pattern behind those fugly rims..

Nope, looks like a ADM with just a ITR engine transplant. Besides, JDM DC2R's weren't introduced until '97 anyhow and ADM ones were introduced in '99 I believe. JDM ones should have rectangle lights whereas ADM should have face-lifted round lights.
Since it's in Victoria, if it was imported, there should be a purple coloured plate/label on the vehicle somewhere and yeah, probably a (Y) on the vehicle registration sticker somewhere which I highly doubt.

"This is a genuine JDM Model Integra Type R. However Please note This is a 1995 Model Not a 1996, as there are no 1995 model type r's in Aus, unless its a import which it is. "
erm...don't Type r only came out from 96 even in japan?

watever the fk that is its ugly. and the front has been in an accident. clearly the owner couldnt find a facelited front bar n lights so he got a dodgy pre face lift one and sprayed it white. and he says his engine is a b18c5. aus spec type r's came in b18c7 and jdm type r's just say b18c. the b18c5 i think was form the US model type r's. he obviosuly made a nice replica or trying to hide up an accident. either way he doesnt know wtf hes talking about.

when i was in Japan, i saw the AUDM fronts on standard 4dr / 2dr pov spec looking tegs. they aren't all 'JDM' front integras over there. also note they sell acura, which meant it couldve been a legit acura integra type R.

back then it was advertised as a 99 type R...i put my money on it that it had a front end callision, the airbag was let out so he replaced it with a JDM steering wheel and series 1 taillights. it looks like its been put back together with JDM parts and prob got a imported engine or something LOL either way ITS NOT A JDM! too many kms for a JDM id say!

the Type R was first released in japan in Aug 1995.
it may have been a jdm that he crashed and wouldnt pay the large price for a front end. if you look at this pic you can see what i have circled,
http://users.bigpond.net.au/z0r-industries/teg.jpg
to me that looks like the "road side flare holder" that only the jdms came with, unless hes tryed real hard to make it look like a real jdm

exactly..
plus it has jdm ITR cluster, no airbags, jdm steering wheel, red recaro seats..
it'd be alot of work if it was a replica..

And it's missing the rear window wiper blades. On JDM models, Im sure they were not a standard feature, if anything they would have been options, and rare options. But I guess the blades can be removed.

Biggest thing is....
it has the 96 spec non SRS airbag. This is the only integra type R to come without a airbag...So if its legally driving it has to be a 96 spec ITR and nothing else ( not even a gsi or vtir with a conversion etc)

i get the flare thing part...but i dun get why he or she put the type r badge infront of the gear stick....maybe check that see if there is a proper number on it like 95-xxxx or 96-xxxx.....
but then it could still be fake..so yeah..check the vin....or u if u know any mechanic with plenty of knowledge on dc2r to have a look at it...coz they can then see if there are any accident including rewelding....and one thing is.." this mite be really silly" but jdm have a shorter cat even stock....comparing to audm....check the boot see if it has a silver bar along the boot at the back coz only type r would have it..so if it have one..mostlike it is a type r then....
it mite have a jdm cluster...but it takes under 3 mins to change basically everything internal can be changed and no airbag on the passenger side..maybe it is jdm....but if it had an accident and to a point needs to do a conversion like that..i don't think its worth it coz it means they would have to cut and weld the front end again to do the conversion....the seats looks really screwed as well
edit: and i just realised..if its jdm..shouldn't it come with a fog light switch behind the steering wheel on the left hand side under the dash at the little circle thingy there????

ADM JDM reburth, take an ADM Teg and a wright off JDM and mix end result REBURTH, easy way to tell is to look at VIN on the chassis, if it is crossed out reburth if not check numbers with honda cos its probebly fake.
PROVE ME WRONG.

everythings can be convert to jdm spec!! REMEMBER EVERYTHINGS
EXCEPT the import plate from vicroads or RTA!!
Money can't buy that little plate if it is a legally register import vehicle :)
