pod filter and ek owners lil help?

hey guys im thinking this isnt a problem but would rather know for sure... im comming from an audi a4 and the car didnt make noises like this :P

ive got a pod filter on my ek civic

and there seems to be a pretty noticable hissing noise comming from the filter...

is that normal?
