The reflash is ecu specific. The K-pro on the other hand can be imported in as soon as it is released in the US and it will work in the Euro as long as you get the pinouts.

yeah but just thought about if hondata australia bring them in it might be cheaper? and also i think k-pro is only piggy back? where as euro1 is stand alone ecu but its only around 2000 aud. well...correct me if im wrong

K-pro is not an interceptor. It works with your existing ECU so that it leaves instruments and A/C intact, while taking care of engine management.

Hey Guys this is absolutly old news....:p I have had this on my car off and on for the last 6 months. My car has been the R&D car used for the world development for Hondata on this... but you still need a reflash...

so the kpro plugs into the chipped stock ecu - is able to tune the parameters and then be removed leaving a vehicle specific reflash?

Why boast about it being old news when information on it was not released to the public and you were not telling anything? It's new news to us and to the TSX forums.

Why would I divulge this information when I am not developing it personally. My car is only the test vehicle and I had to get permission before I could say anything.....I have signed a non disclosure agreement with Jtune/Hondatech which is legally binding.

All I can say is that some stuff is coming from the states before the tune can be installed on to any car...it has taken months of wangling to get this arrangement complete. There are legal implications.

The other hold up has been some parts being made in Asia which will be sold as part of the package.....

Jtune will not release anything untill everything is ready ...

It is close to 2k for the ecu. EFi euro1 is used on BTCC and have ivtec map pattern.

We will get there though and rest assured its well worth it :)

PS alan, did u get to ride in chris's car yet? we made 146.3kws at the wheels with just i/h/e and our ecu, he's playing with alot of turbo cars for fun now lol
