it usually means water is getting into a broken gasket

does the engine sound abnormal?? does the car rattle more than usual??? does the car lose speed/?? If so then i would agree with Claymore that u mightve poured diesel. The station u filled up at, is the diesel fuel section with all the unleaded/UP or by itself?

Like Nikki said, white smoke means you are burning water (usually coolant). It could just be condensation built up in your exhaust when you stopped at petrol station. Start your car again, does it still blow white smoke?

as above - is the "smoke" same as from the muffler on a cold morning ? IE dissipates quite quickly and white in colour ?

the smoke smell like patrol ..... i am sure i filled it up with 98 vortex and not DIESEL !!!!!!! it only blew for like 30 sec and it's gone .... don't see any more smoke until now .... weird ass ... btw , the head and all gaskets are new ....

perhaps there was some water in the tank and it burnt away in the engine.

the smoke smell like patrol .....
Of course it would smell like exhaust. Because most of it is exhaust gases!

i know white smoke = Water/Coolent (Warped Head, headgasket gone, water in fuel tank) , but the head and the headgasket had just been rebuilt/replace few weeks ago, and i saw the white smoke last night only ... never happen to my honda b4 .... should i take it to the workshop and have a check ? ( that might take few days / $$$ ) or should i wait for the next white smoke ?

Do you have 98 RON at your Caltex stations in Melbourne? When I asked the owner of the petrol station he said the Vortex was 95 RON and that they were supposed to be getting a 98 sometime this year, but he didn't know when.
Any news of what the problem was?
