Would there be a way to check what HIDs i have, 4000k, 6000k etc.? should it be on the transformer somewhere or something?

Also say i had 4000k, and replaced the bulbs with 6000k, would this be okay or do i need to replace the whole thing? cheers

it should tell you on the bulb, the part where you hold the bottom of the bottom to plug them in the slot

the higher the k u go the more blueish purple it starts to become =P

6000k would be like a blue colour for sure =)

but i dont tihnk its the K you need to look at its more about the wattage.

i think 5000k-6000k should be ok anything higher would make u pig bait lol. depending on the car u drive though lol

no one really knows.

I have used 80w in a dc2 before with no hassles, however oem bulbs are rated at 55w. You probably dont want to go higher.

When we talking HID, they all are standard 35W, and some of the latest technology can boost it to 50W
