Hey peeps.

Well here's the deal. EGb18c2. Which cai should I get. I've tried the v2 AEM cai for the b18c2, but it won't fit in.
Should I opt for an eg cai?
I don't want to buy one and find out i need to sell it coz it won't fit agian!
Custom's my last opt, but not really keen.
Looking for something's that has been dyno proven.

Thanks,

Benson

I reckon custom would be option.. or just run your stock rubber pipe with a filer on the end...

We've have net good gains with our filter combo... Pm me if you want more info

i found that my fujita CAI system for my integra pretty much fitted into my EG, only problem was where the bracket usually bolts on didnt sit staight =/

had to remove a fair bit of plastic and resonators etc on both cars

does ur egb18c2 have a skunk2 intake manifold?
because the oem dc2 vtir intake manifold is different to the skunk2.
that might be why it doesnt fit.

agreed the throttle body design sits lower in the Vtir engines if im correct.

The diameter isn't the problem, its the space where the actual pod sits and the bends in the pipe.

yeh thats what we mean
the vtir throttle body sits upside down
the skunk2/type r throttle body sits up right/

the intake manifolds sit differently.
thats the bends dont match.

this means u cant use a ITR or EG one

the vti-r one should fit... how did u go with google etc?

or you could get a skunk2 or ITR intake manifold +throttle body and get a ITR CAI to match

i had the front bars of my cars when i was fiddling with them and modified the plastic etc to make them both fit

Just use a short ramp CAI. like mine easy and fits in any car and engines.
