I'd like to put an aftermarket steering wheel on my 94 Accord. Will the cruise control module easily come off the existing steering wheel? to be mounted on the aftermarket one.
Also, since my current steering wheel has no airbag...it is not illegal to replace it right?

But if the boss kit doesn't support the cruise control module can I just relocate it somewhere else? I'm looking at getting a Nardi deep corn (350/330mm) steering wheel

There should be a HKB boss with 3 buttons for the cruise control so u can have cruise control and an aftermarket Wheel. Sweeet.
But if u wanna relocate it, should be able to do it, just gotta tap into the Cruise control loom.
Not sure, but I guess it can be done

I have an aftermarket wheel on my CB7, and have CC mounted on the hub with the buttons sitting very neatly between two of the three wheel spokes. I couldn't find a hub that would support the CC, so I had to make a steel one from scratch (though I used the spline block from the old dead stock wheel). I also took the opportunity to mount the wheel a few cms closer to the driver, which is much better!
As far as relocating the CC controller, I thought about this but couldn't find anywhere convenient to mount it. Then I thought about using some different buttons, but on looking into the guts of the CC controller it has internal electronics that need to be retained, so I think you probably have to use it. Also, the horn wire seems to be integrated into the CC controller electronics in some way, which would probably complicate relocating the CC controller.
