Ok fella's, I should be receiving my suspension either this week or the next for my dc2/4. Now I was just wondering when I lower my teg say 1.5-2 inches, how much will the camber change? Would I need to grab a camber kit?

I’m just interested in knowing because if I did need one I want to get it before I install the suspension, so then I can chuck everything on at once.

Which brings me to the second part of the thread which is what brand of camber kits are there? For dc2/4 I’ve only seen Buddy club and Skunk2 camber kits, are there anymore? And which one makes the better kit out of the two?

cheers

DO NOT get those adjustable bolt ones for the front... they get lose very easily regardless how tight you put em... only really good if your a full-time tracker where you constantly check such parts

nah i'll post tonight the ones i have.... the bolts i'm talking about are the ones that connect the front upper control arm (wishbone) to the chassis. theres 2 on each side.

it''s come lose on me twice and is ****ing dangerous to the point that the car steers itself in a random direction after hitting any slight bumps... it's far worse than coilover sleeves where the spring bounces off the perch

alot of brands out there that make camber kits. We have been using Skunk2 Pro series front and rear and they hold up fine. We have tested both on the track and street.

ah k cheers people

also, referring to the first part of my post, would I need to get a camber kit if I lower my car or will lowering it only change it slightly?

hard question.. you'd really have to get it on the laser/alignment tool...

generally the low hondas i see on those kings springs or whatever look really neg camber.. you can just tell by crouching behind the car and looking at the angle

Short answer is no. Get it lowered, get a good alignment and then reasses.

ah k, so I'll lower it, get a wheel alignment then see where it's at.

I'm putting coilovers on btw.
