I don't think they will give you a refund for getting it done somewhere else. The recall is a cost that they take into consideration by doing the work themselves.

hey all, I only bought my 04 lux a couple of years ago, and I'm not sure if this recall was ever actioned on my car, is there any way to check? and if it hasn't been done would I still be able to get it done?
